RESEARCH AREAS
The future technologies for our research interests comprise of, but not limited to the followings:

Alternative fuels for internal combustion engines (ICE) including other renewable energies for propulsion of vehicles i.e. biodiesel, hydrous bio-ethanol, hydrogen, bio-oil, ethanol-diesel mixture, hydrogen-diesel mixture, and so on.

After-treatment technology for emission reduction from the combustion in ICE. Development of after-treatment devices for alternative fuels.

Engine verification and calibration on engine dynamometer. Development of an engine that can run with various alternative fuels.

Engine thermal management.

Fuel jet-spray investigation.

Fuel reforming, to reform any hydrocarbon-oxygenated fuels into hydrogen-rich gas to combust in ICE using catalysts.

Engine lubrication. Reducing friction losses in machines.

Improving turbocharger performance.

Combustion, combustor, injector and external combustion engines.

Engine and vehicle control systems. Development of products that control engines running with bi- or tri- fuels.
